We use the words “gay friendly” to describe a drug rehab or alcohol rehab program that has addiction treatment staff capable of addressing our clinical needs and drug rehab staff who have dealt with their experiences of prejudice and homophobic attitudes. As a nationally recognized center of excellence, the Freedom Rings drug rehab center was specifically designed to effectively provide drug rehabilitation, alcohol rehab and dual diagnosis treatment for the GLBT community.  In our gay friendly drug rehab program, gay and heterosexual patients are provided with drug and alcohol treatment services co-currently, while recognizing clinical issues that are of particular importance to us.  GLBT specific groups in our drug rehab program address; homophobia, coming out, internalized homophobia, risk taking behavior, sexual orientation, sexual trauma and more. Alcohol Rehab Program Licensure and Accreditation

Freedom Rings, a drug addiction treatment and alcohol rehab component of Lakeview Health Systems is a Florida drug rehab that has been fully licensed by the State of Florida, Children and Family Services. We have been licensed to provide inpatient drug detox services, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation, rehab, day/night addiction treatment and intensive outpatient alcohol rehab and family treatment.

In addition, our Florida drug rehab has received the “Gold Seal of Approval” from the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) the standard bearer in addiction treatment, substance abuse treatment and alcohol rehabilitation programs.
