Lakeview’s Freedom Rings is a drug rehab that embraces the philosophy that the disease of drug addiction and alcoholism is a family illness. It is rare indeed that a family is not adversely affected, if not devastated, when drug addiction or alcoholism enters the picture. We encourage family members and significant others to participate in our Family Recovery Program and allow healing to take place for yourselves. It is happening for your loved one in our drug and alcohol treatment center.
Even though patients are admitted to our drug rehab program from every state in the country, we strongly urge family members to attend the Family Recovery Program. This exceptional four day addiction treatment experience will provide all members of the family with renewed hope not only for your loved one’s recovery, but for a healing to begin within the family itself. Our experience has been that by the end of this powerful four day family treatment, forgiveness has taken the place of anger, hope the place of despair and laughter the place of sadness. The entire therapeutic process is provided by our family therapist and takes place at the addiction treatment center.
As mentioned above, patients are admitted to our alcohol rehab and addiction treatment center from throughout the United States and we realize family members will be traveling as well. When deciding on a location for our alcohol rehab program we took this into consideration. As such, reputable and safe hotels, restaurants, shopping and banking are within minutes of our alcohol treatment center. For assistance in locating a hotel you are comfortable with, please call our drug rehab center at 1-800-231-1820 and we will be happy to help. Please keep in mind that those of you who might want to plan a little vacation, the drug and alcohol treatment center is only three miles from the beaches in Jacksonville, Florida.
As a patient in our alcohol treatment program everyone meets with our aftercare and alumni coordinator. It is their responsibility to alert the patient and family as to all the addiction treatment resources they have at their fingertips. Our alumni coordinator will meet with the patient prior to discharge from alcohol rehab and make phone contact with you every thirty days for the first year. If at any time you or your family member has concerns or questions don’t wait, call our alcohol treatment program right away.
Patients can also expect to receive a copy of our newsletter updating you on recovery issues and any changes in the rehab program on a monthly basis. If you want to participate in the development of our newsletter, Lakeview Today, just let the alumni coordinator know. While we encourage our patients to attend meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, we also encourage family members to attend Alanon or Naranon for continued support.
