What type of drug rehab does Freedom Rings offer?
Freedom Rings is an alcohol and drug rehab center offering detox services, experiential therapy, individual therapy, relapse prevention, a three-day family recovery week, art and recreational therapy, specialty groups, dual diagnosis treatment, aftercare and holistic services.
Does Freedom Rings accept health insurance?
Our gay-friendly treatment center accepts reimbursement from most insurance carriers. Once we have your insurance information, we will verify your benefits and explain to you every aspect of how your healthcare benefits can be used for our treatment center.
Are you a gay-only treatment center?
No, Freedom Rings specializes in treating the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning population but is not a "gay-only" center. We provide our patients with a "real-world" experience during the recovery process in a gay-friendly environment. As part of our treatment protocol, we offer gay-only support groups where individuals can share their thoughts and feelings free from homophobia, prejudice, judgment and discrimination. Our caring and sensitive staff is experienced with meeting the unique needs of the GLBTQ community while providing all of our patients with the individualized clinical services they deserve.
Some alcohol and drug rehab centers do not require staff to be certified. Does yours?
Regardless of what other treatment centers require, Freedom Rings requires staff to be either certified from an accredited college or university, credentialed as an addiction professional, licensed as a mental health counselor or have a Ph.D. All of the physicians employed at the Freedom Rings treatment center are board-certified.
Many treatment centers do not have their own detox center, how about yours?
Lakeview's Freedom Rings has a state-of-the-art medical detox located right on our campus. Our medical detox is directed by a board-certified physician and is staffed with 24-hour nursing.
Are you a holistic treatment center?
Yes, we are a holistic treatment center. While most other treatment centers only provide traditional therapy, we believe in treating the whole person -- body, mind and spirit. This type of holistic approach has provided patients with a complete lifestyle change as well as better health and a better chance of maintaining recovery. As part of our holistic treatment component, we provide yoga, tai-chi, meditation, relaxation class, breathing techniques, nutritional counseling and spiritual development courses.
Where are you located?
Freedom Rings is located in Jacksonville, Florida. Our beautiful lakeside location is an optimal setting to begin your recovery.
Do you have to live in Florida to attend Freedom Rings?
No, Freedom Rings welcomes patients from all over the United States. In fact, we find that it is extremely beneficial for people who are addicted to drugs and alcohol to attend residential treatment in a location away from their home and the factors that may be influencing their substance abuse.
I have a psychiatric illness as well as a drug addiction. Will Freedom Rings accept my admission?
